Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my daughter if going for frequent urination. she is 4 yr old. i got urine analysis done..the report is like this: pH:acidic (6.0) SP gravity 1.005 every other thing is either nil or absent, Microscopy : pus cells :1-2/hpf, Epithelial cell :1-2/hpf. is the report normal? What cud be the reason for frequent urination
The report is normal. When did this problem start? Is there any pain or discomfort during urination? If there are such symptoms, it is better to get a urine culture also done to rule out urine infection. If negative, infection is ruled out and we have look for other causes like excessive water intake, worm infestation etc.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
