What Causes Frequent Urination While Taking Doxycycline And Prednisone?
I m currently taking DOXY-CYCL HYCL 100mg...2 capsules twice a day. I m into my fourth day of this medicine. I m also on 10 days of Prednisone. I began feeling like I have to urinate often and then only having to urinate a small amount. I was wondering if I m getting a bladder infection if the antibiotics will help this problem. I m traveling for two days by car beginning tomorrow and am wondering if I need to go to the walk in clinic for a different medication.

Prednisone can cause an increase in urinary frequency so this may be the cause of your symptoms.
Though urinary frequency can occur in urinary tract infection, it is normally accompanied by discomfort on urination or a change in the color or odor of urine.
There may also be abdominal pain as well.
