General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my surgical experience, the PVR of 8 ml is suggestive of almost complete voiding pattern of the bladder in oppose to narrowing of the urethra where there is a substantial amount of urine left in the bladder after urination.

The possibility of urethral irritation can be evaluated from diagnostic cystoscopy and further management accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
