Hello and thank you for asking HCM.
I have read your symptoms and understand your concerns. Feeling pain 5 days out of 7 isn't normal for a patient with gallstones. It is time for you to check up with a surgeon. If i was your doctor/surgeon i would do some blood tests to see if your liver enzymes are alternated ,the WBC count, the pancreas enzymes,
bilirubin level. I would also do an
ultrasound to see the walls of your
gallbladder and make sure the walls are not thickened (meaning you have
cholecystitis ) and do a
laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
You need to have this kind of diet,to minimize the possibilities to have pain again due to the gallstones:
-plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables
-limited amounts of foods high in fats and sugars
-your diet need to have plenty of fibres
-lean meat, poultry, and fish
If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
