What Causes Gas And Bloating After Changing Birth Control?
I changed my birth control I started my 3pack and I m on the first week of pills. I m experiencing gas n gas pain n bloating. My period ended end of last week. However It was a Super light barely any for about 3days. I was wondering what can be wrong? I kinda feel sensitivity wen I push with a little pressure around my uterus/bladder area
While being on birth control pills sometimes side effects like bloating sensation of the abdomen, abdominal cramps, irregularity in menstrual cycles, etc., can be seen as side effects. As you have changed the birth control pills recently, these side effects may take some time to get subside.
If you have missed any of the pills please go for a pregnancy test to rule out that possibility. If the symptoms persist in next months also, please consult your gynecologist once and take symptomatic treatment with antispasmodic and antacids, etc.
If the severity of the symptoms increases and symptomatic treatment do not give any relief, you may need to change the contraceptive method.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
