What Causes Gas And Mucus In Stool?

I have severe pain in my lower left backside. I have gotten up to urinate twice in the last hour or so, and each time I have severe gas and mucus type stuff is in the toilet. This last time, the mucus had a blood vein running in it. It was very thin, and maybe about 3 inches long.

Hello, welcome to healthcare magic forum,
As per your description it looks like you are having fisure-in-ano, plus you have infection in stomach say colitis,in this situation I give my patients Tab- Oflox-OZ to be taken 2 times daily for 5-7 days. Also I suggest you to get local examination done of your back side if this pain while passing stool is there for long duration to rule out fissure-in-ano.

Regards.
