What Causes Gas Problems After Stopped Consuming Milk?
I have just stopped consuming milk as i was told that it is not good in the long run by a very good friend of mine. But after stopping with milk i started developing gas problems that is causing a lot of social embarassment and havoc for me. Its been around 7 days since i have stopped with milk. What should i do? I'm also very sensitive to medications. Should i try taking Gelusil MPS. Or should i opt in for drinking lime juice early morning, once i get up. Please help..
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. This is very unusual to have gases after stopping milk, almost unheard of. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Restart milk and see if this stops the gas problems. Get the stool test and if an intestinal infection is present, get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics. Also watch for the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and stop these strictly. Use boiled and cooled water and homemade fresh food only. Why try lime juice and stop listening to the so called good friends if they do not know anything about the nutrition and start giving you wrong advises.
