What Causes Gray Stools In A Old Age?
My 91 year old father-in law is currently on hospice care, I am his primary care giver at home, and he has had gray bowel movements for the past couple of days. What could possibly be the cause of this. The hospice nurse says that his body is not processing fat properly, is this true?

You have problem of Gray stool that is more fat in stool may be because of gastrointestinal malabsoption.More fat in stool called steatorrhea.
Intestinal disease like chons or celiac disease may cause more fat in stool.Lactose intolerance may cause pale and sticky stool problem. Gastrointestinal malabsoption cause pale stool.
Consent a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
