What Causes Green Colored Stools?

This nothing I had really green stool. It looked like it was dyed the color of grass. Its the first time its happened. I haven't eaten anything different. In supposed to have a surgery on wednesday, and just want to make sure nothings wrong before I do.

1.Diet (beets, diets rich in green vegetables, licorice)
2.Bismuth (for example, Pepto-Bismol)
3.Gallbladder disease
4.Celiac disease
5.Ulcerative colitis
6.Crohn's disease
7.Tumors
8.Diverticular disease
9.Cancers
10.Hemorrhoids

I think In your senario it may be due to food that contain green vegetables.. If your asymptomatic nothing to worry but if your feeling bloating and pain or mucous in stools please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
