Hi my family and I just recently relocated to a new house in a new state and within the last week my husband and started having green fuzzy stools, it almost looks like green algae on our stools. Our diets usually consists of lots of greens and kale, but the funny thing is we moved from our garden and have been eating far less greens as the season changes and now we;'re concerned it might be something in our water. Has anyone have an explanation as to why this is happening. My 3 year old daughter has not yet had green sstools but it has been more liquidy.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Since you and your husband have green stools and the daughter has loose stools after shifting to a new place, the most likely cause is obviously intestinal infection unless proved otherwise. Yes, the source can be water. I would advise you the following: Send the stool and blood sample of you all for tests. Ask the Authority to check your water course, tank and all for infection. Boil the water for 20 minutes and stool to use it for making food as well for drinking. Fresh home-made foods only. Get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and as per the reports of the investigations.
