What Causes Greenish Discharge In The Stools?

HI My boyfriend has had the runs for over a week. he hasnt been feelin himself. He has notice green stools with white mocus and now he has notice a pinky red mucus. its stool are watery and he doesnt seem to shaking it off.

Please can you give some advice. thanks
