What Causes Greyish Discoloration Of Skin In A Cancer Patient?
What can cause grey skin color, my father in law has had cancer, went through chemo and has had esophageal surgery. He had blood clots in his lungs, they said was from chemo. But I am very concerned about his greyish skin color. He is telling us nothing is wrong.
Skin pigmentation ia a known side effect of chemotherapy .Generally the pigmentation gets worse on sun exposure and regular use of sunscreens can help. Topical depigmenting agents like kojic acid and arbutin can be tried on pigmented spots.Consult a dermatologist and discuss the treatment options mentioned above. Regards
