What Causes Greyness To The White Part Of The Eye?
I am visiting the Dominican Republic and I saw a child, about 2 years old, in whom the whites of her eyes are very dark, almost grey. The parents can not afford much medical care and I want to see where should they take her to diagnose whatever is wrong. Should we go to an ophthalmologist or an MD?

Sometimes there can be mole like presentation called naevi. In some itchy eyes this pigmentation also increases. But whatever pigmentation in the eye needs to be ruled out for precancerous changes hence needs to consult ophthalmologist
