What Causes Groin Area Pain With Labia Burning Sensation Prior To Urination?

I have pain across the groin area. Prior to urination my labia start to burn. I have had a gynecological exam and no problems were found and no urinary problems. Told it might be scar tissue from previous surgery and to use premarin? Still having pain and burning. What next?

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. As per your history is concerned your groin pain may be due to many pathological causes,so Please find my advice below-:
1)Do an ultrasound pelvic to ruled out Ovary & kidney major pathology
2)Do full blood count with differential
3)Do your urine RE/ME/Culture
4)Do check your outside of vagina for any ulcer present if present it is hepes simplex and tell your local doctor to add antiviral for 10 days.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
