What Causes Groin Pain After Getting A Flu Shot?

Hello, I have recently had the Flu shot and since then i have pain in my groin. It feels like pressure on my anus and sometimes get shooting pains in my groin. When i sit down it hurts. It lasted about two weeks then went away and comes back now and then. I have had all blood tests, testicle scans, but no answers. I was told it was due to being sick it gets enflamed and causes pain. I have just never had this before?

Hello,

rivelent inactivated Influenza vaccine (TIV) is given as single dose 0.5 ml IM or intra-dermally (ID).Im injection in gluteal area (buttock) risks injury to the sciatic nerve. Hence to use deltoid muscle for adults and older children.Alternatively,it may be heralding Multiple sclerosis.
