What Causes Grommets With Excessive Wax In Ear?

4years old, just over metre, just under 3 stone. My daughter has grommets and has excessive ear wax in both ears that does come out and is soft. There is no infection. what could be causing this. It was the same before the grommets where put in, but ear infections were a lot more painfull.

Grommets are placed to reduce ear pain and ear block and this may cause more amount of wax in some cases. However if they are not causing any problems you have nothing to worry about.
