What Causes Growing Brown Dot On Tear Duct?
I have a brown dot on my tear duct for over a year but this past few months has been growing. It s getting bigger to point nearly my whole tear duct is brown. I ve no pain with it and have been given a hospital appointment but I m just wondering what it could be??? Thank you!

The brown dot on the tear duct can be related to a tear duct infection.
Generally pigmented lesions in this area should be checked by an oculoplastic surgeon, and removed.
The removal may be done in an office setting with oral sedation, and topical anesthetic, followed by local anesthetic.
