What Causes Growth Of Facial Hair And Thicker Hair In Body?
I feel daft asking this but My husband has klien felter syndrome hes on testosterone steroids called nebido. we have a really healthy sex life but ive notice over the past few years, that im growing facial hair and my body hair is growing thicker and faster could it be the testosterone passed on through his bodily fluids?
Hello. Thanks for asking on healthcaremagic. No, testosterone cannot be passed on from body fluids during a sexual intercourse. It seems like you are having initial phase of hirsuitism. Causes can be many. Hormones like TSH, LH, FSH, PROLACTIN, CORTISOL, DHEAS and TESTOSTERONE need to be checked in the body. It might be related to stress. Stress is one factor which might make our hormones go into imbalance. It is always advisable to consult an endocrinologist or a skin specialist because over the counter methods like waxing or plucking might not solve the problem at the root cause level. Hope I helped. Thanks.
