What Causes Hair Loss, Abdominal Bloating And Constipation?

Hello Dr. Puthillath I am a 24 year old female Can you please let me know a possible diagnosis or if I would need any treatments from the following test results. Red cell Distribution Width: 12.3 cV (L), Platelet: 78 x 10^9 (L) - down from 125 two years ago, Mean Platelet Volume: 12.5 fL (H), Glucose Fasting 3.8 mmol/L (L) I have also been suffering from hair loss, constipation, abdominal bloating, cold hands feet nose (sometimes purple nails), lightheadedness (have fainted before) I do not have any thyroid diseases (normal tsh, t3, t4) and all other routine blood tests are normal. Thank you!

Hi,

All the given test result of routine blood work seems to be within normal limits neither the given symptoms suggestive of any disease but it is just the nonspecific changes you must be having.

Try to change the diet, no need to be over-conscious. The history of fainting could be due to hypoglycemia else it had to be ruled out for cardiovascular and brain disease. It could have been hysteria too. If you do not have such fainting episode again then it is nothing to worry.
