What Causes Hair Loss After Starting Birth Control Pills?

I am starting my third pack of Nortrel oral contraceptive tomorrow. I have lost a lot of hair since starting birth control,and I am concerned about the thinning.Will this stop once my body adjusts to the hormones or will I eventually lose all of my hair?

I can understand your concern for the hair loss after starting birth control pills.
It is quite uncommon to find hair loss after the hormonal pill treatment. In general hair loss can be due to simple nutritional deficiency or due to stress also. In some females it can be due to simple slight change of hormonal status after taking hormonal pill. Do not worry in such kind of cases the hair fall gets better by itself.
Take good nutritious diet and reduce your stress. Take further guidance from your treating doctor.
