Hello,

Androgenetic alopecia is the most common cause of hair loss and hair thinning. It manifests mainly on the front, mid and vertex of the scalp and is also associated with a receding anterior hairline.

Minoxidil and finasteride are approved remedies for androgenetic alopecia treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Kakkar S., Dermatologist
