What Causes Hard And Painful Lump On Anus?

Hello, i have found a small lump on my anus, it seems more internal than external, it is hard to touch and painful and when i wipe there is a little blood, the tip of the lump is part black too but other than that, flesh coloured. i am only 20 years old, female and my mother has been having regular doctors visits for possible colon cancer, which is why I m concerned. Any advice or thoughts on what it could be would be grateful! thanks!

This seems to me to be hemorrhoids, which are benign in themselves unless you start to have frank bleeding. I do not directly associate this with cancer.
