I keep getting theses things on my face. They start off as hard bumps that dont come to a head....clear or bloodish liquid comes out when squeezed. They itch like crazy and kinda hurt. If I pick at them to try to get out whatever is making it hurt, sometimes I pull out these little clear like balls/spikes they bleed pretty good afterwards...then it doesnt seem to itch as bad...it also leaves like a small crater/hole on my face...i think it spreads cause I seem to keep getting more. Im assuming its some kind of bacterial or viral infection or something to do with a fungal infection. Its to the point where i dont want to leave my house cause of how my face looks. I have tried everything to get rid of but nothing seems to be making them go away.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
You seem to be having Acne (nodulocystic variety). This is severe grade acne.
Oral retinoids (Isotretinoin) are the drugs of choice for these types of acne. Treatment should be initiated as soon as possible because there is a risk of scaring. Retinoids act rapidly due to there fourfold mechanism of action in acne i.e Antiinflammatory action, Oil control/sebostatic, Antibacterial and Comedolytic.
Oral retinoids are prescription products and are dispensed under the iPLEDGE program. I would suggest that you seek an appointment with a dermatologist for a prescription of these.
Besides oral retinoids, you should use topical antiacne medications like benzoyl peroxide gel 2.5% gel twice daily.
Hope this helps Regards
