What Causes Hard Painless Lump On Side Of My Face?
I had a tiny hard painless lump on my face under my skin near my jaw. I thought it was a blocked pore, squeezed it but nothing came out. Left it alone but could still feel something hard under my skin. The skin was broken so I used some tweezers, I could feel stone like bump so I pulled it out! It was hard like tooth/stone white/cream and a bumpy irregular shape 1-2 mm in size, is this just a calcified cyst? Think the tiny lump was there for ages, it hadn t grown in size I just presumed it was a cyst.
Hello, yes, going by ur history, it appears most likely as an epidermal inclusion cyst (EIC), such lesions usually have a punctum which you may feel like a break, the other differential for this location is odontogenic cyst. An FNAC will help in the diagnosis. The treatment of EIC is simple excision. I would adv you to visit a dermatologist for evaluation thanks TAKE CARE
