What Causes Hard Palate To Be Sore And Tender And Pressure In Ears?

I woke up last night and couldn't go back to bed due to the discomfort. The back of my hard palate is sore & tender and I feel pressure in my ears. Pressing on the hard palate with my hurts a little but seems to alleviate some of the pain and pressure. What could this be?

in my opinion this is pharyngitis involving eustachian tube. causing it's inflammation and blockage. this causes ear pain, fullness. I would recommend you to take antihistaminic and nasal decongestant. avoid cold drinks and take hot bath and steam inhalation.
