What Causes Hard, Red Blotchy Area That Itches After Tetanus Shot?
My son got a tetnus shot yesterday and he just showed me his arm where the shot was given. It is hot to the touch, has a red blotchy area and it is hard to the touch plus he says it itches. Do I need to bring him back to his physician? Is this something we should be concerned about? It just doesn t seem right.
See on the day, it may be bit tender, but if it stays for more than a day, then you should consult your physician again. Apply ice, do not massage that area and do not panic.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
