What Causes Hardness And Electric Feeling At The Tip Of The Tongue?

ok this seems a little odd to me but my fiance said that last night the tip of his tongue felt like he had stuck it to a very strong 9 volt battery ...... This is the second time in about a week or so I thought he was dreaming the first time but he was actually awake last night.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Tingling tongue can be caused by a wide variety of conditions. Common causes include stroke, head injury, reduced blood flow, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, and neurologic diseases, such as multiple sclerosis (disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, causing weakness, coordination and balance difficulties, and other problems).
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
