What Causes Head Rush Post A Bladder Surgery?

When gettin up from the sittin position I can feel the blood rush to my neck and head. Had bladder surgery resterday. Am on supplemental oxygen for copd at 4/ppm.. A fib so I ve been off my pradaxa for 4 days. Thought my oxygen was at fault my percriptions now at night an on exseration, gym ,walking.

You may be suffering from postural hypotension it may be side effects of Anesthesia drugs or hypovolemia or rare genetic problem like hydroxylase deficiency. COPD patients may present like CO2 narcosis with flushing of body with warm periphery with blood rush. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Check your blood pressure, check your air blood gas levels, check for serum epinephrine levels then consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
