What Causes Headache And Abdominal Discomfort?

This morning I went to an urgent care center because my throat was dry and water wasn t satisfying it, and I was having trouble swallowing. The Doctor did a chest X-ray because of my breathing, but I was fine. She said I had a virus and acid reflux. She gave me Azithromycin and Ranitidine. 3 hours after taking one pill of each, I had for a little while intestinal discomfort, a headache, and my heart was pounding a little harder (not a lot). I called that doctor and she said to stop taking the pills until the blood test came through. Now about 7 hours later, I have eaten very little (compared to normal), the headache feels really strong, my intestines were a little in pain, but I pooped about 20 minutes after the pains started, and I am nauseous. In other words, I feel miserable. I need a second opinion, should I go to a hospital or just try to sleep it off?

Hello,

The most striking reason here is an antibiotic-induced side effect in terms of loose motions, abdomen pain, and headache.

Currently avoid further antibiotic, maintain hydration with more liquids till the lab results turn out.
