What Causes Headache And Cough?

what do I have? I have a serious headache, almost migraine-like, but bad enough that it impacts my mobility. I have a rough cough as well that when I do cough, my head throbs. As I walk, even stand, the pressure builds in my head. An example from today, I was trying to walk to find something and nearly fell from too much pressure. I have tried taking ibuprofen, and that worked for around one hour. then I tried extra strength Tylenol, and that worked twice, but I think the virus of sorts that is circulating in my body has a weird gene to become immune to pain killers.

Different TYPES of headaches (and there are many...not just migraines or tension headaches) require different approaches to treat, different medications, different ancillary activities. Your body's "tolerance" to medication is VERY COMMON which is why we prescribe a strict LIMIT of OTC types of medications for headache patients. I advise you find a headache specialist/neurologist who can perform an in depth neurological examination and order appropriate labs and/or imaging studies to be sure that there isn't anything "north of the neck" that shouldn't be there.
