What Causes Headache And Ear Pain With History Of Ear Infection?
in 2006 or i had a ear infection had 4 lots of antibotics but failed to take them at the regular intervals and ever since have had a head ache and earache. Been to ear specialists. done all the tests they said at first the air could not expel out and left it like that for a year Then I lost some hearing Next been for scans They said there was no infection and could not do anything for me and dismissed However I have had to live with this ever since Tried taking Herpes virus homeopathetic remedy for it which eases it off when I do. However it always returns and feels like my ear is being tightened by a screwdriver
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood the history.
Your history is of taking 4 lots of antibiotics for a supposedly ear infection as you further say about herpes and taking homeopathy medicines for this problem.
My thoughts: This may be post-herpetic Neuralgia which causes pain in the affected ear. I would advise you to have a clinical evaluation, examination done by an ENT Surgeon and carry on the treatment as per his advise.
