What Causes Headache And Fever After Having A Miscarriage?

i just gad a miscarriage. i went to the doctors today to find out after a pelvic exam that it was a complete miscarriage. but im weak i have headaches back aches dizziness and a fever. is this normal. im on antibiotics for a bacterial infection as of today.

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Though general weakness is a feature of an abortion, fever should raise suspicion of an infection. As you have been diagnosed with an infection and are being treated with antibiotic medication, you should get well soon. Take adequate rest, healthy diet and proper hydration. Have regular follow up. A trans-vaginal sonogram performed two weeks after the abortion will help to rule out any retained products. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
