So I ve had this cough for a while. First it was a dry hack and the doctor stated it was likely allergies, which I have never had before. Then after taking some medication, which included over the counter serytec (spell?) it seemed to go away this was back in the March / April time frame of this year. Then in mid June I got sick with what I thought was a cold or flu with achy body, chills, runny nose, cough, and I ve always had a bit of a stiff neck shoulder area. This eventually went away then in Mid July I got sick again this time with no runny nose but a cough, headache, chills, sore throat, and little ear pain. I also notice that at night I seem to have more phelm then normal. My cough is periodic but when I do cough it feels like my head is going to blow off my body -- throbbing pain. Anyway, I went to have a chest X-ray today I am a 57 year old female in good health, weight, blood pressure, etc. I am a past tobacco user and my husband smokes so I am around 2nd hand smoke frequently. My mother died of brain cancer when she was 51 years old and she too was in good health -- so the brain cancer was such a shock. My pain in my head when I wake up in the morning is like behind my right eye -- feels like sinus pressure. But yet, my face does not hurt like sinus issues.
