Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concern. You are having a lump in your neck- Is this a lymph gland enlargement, or thyroid gland, and for how much time it is present. You must consult to a doctor to know whether this is an infection or benign(non serious)/malignant(serious) enlargement. If it is lymphadenitis go for resection. It will ease you problems.
