HIV AIDS Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Repeated negative HIV test even after 3 months past of your risky exposure definitely ruled out the possibility of HIV 1 and 2. It is not true that sero-conversion could extend up to an year. In normal situation it wouldn't. Even in the unnatural situation it wouldn't extend beyond six months.
So you need not worry about HIV. All your symptoms are due to condition other than HIV. It is the work for your physician to find the cause. Trust your physician and follow his guidance and get well soon.
