HI Well come to HCM Appreciate your query, the given history and the symptoms could be suggestive of viral infection. What ever the reasons are there but the diarrhea may be self limiting and dehydration is matter of concern, else it can not be checked but the underlying cause of this needs to be treated, here in your case if this is the viral infection then that may not need any treatment, sever kind of symptoms of course demands the symptomatic treatment. Be patience because viral infection takes some time for coming around. persistence symptoms demands the medical attention. hope this information helps.
