I get headaches almost every night while I am sleeping. Sometimes they go away 15-20 after I have woken and start to move around. Sometimes they will last all day and not respond to Ecedrin or APAP. I have been to a neurologist and he suggested topamax. I m hesitant to go on something so strong but I am desparate for relief and a good night s sleep. What do you think?
HI Well come to HCM In my opinion most of such headaches are psychological in origin, but it is advisable to rule out the chances of any systemic disease and for this you need to get done the CT of brain, if this turned unremarkable then this is just nothing to worry and this can be well managed with Tab Amitriptyline once at bed time, hope this information helps, take care.
