What Causes Headache When Taking Bolamyn For Diabetes Type 2?

Hi! I have diabetes type II and take Bolamyn 500 mg x 4 + 12 units Victoza and one tablet amaryl every day. I never used to have headache but have it almost every day now. I suspect that the Bolamyn are causing my headache since I have taken the other medication for a longer time without getting this headache. Is headache a side effect of Bolamyn? If yes, is there another medicine I can take instead? Many thanks in advance, HL

Hello,
BOLAMYN is metformin and generally side effects of metformin are gastrointestinal like nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain etc. There can be two reasons for our headache.
Either you are having low blood ugar levels or may be your blood pressure is running high.
Consult a doctor and get the cause detected and then once the cause is identified, you may take appropriate remedial measure.
Thanks
