Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just had zigzag lines and add visual disturbances in my vision. I I got migraine headaches as a teenager and through college, but have not had one in a long time. I took a couple of ibuprofen 15 minutes ago and my vision is fine now. it only lasted about 15 minutes. Do I need to get medical attention?
It is due to visual disturbances that you are having headache. You have history of migraine and retinal migraines also cause visual problems (blurring of vision due to eye strain, need to wear glasses for correction of myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, open angle glaucoma, cataracts), these are associated with headache. Ibuprofen helps relieve headache.
Visit ER, see an eye specialist and get an eye check up done. You may need glasses or medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
