I hit my head on saturday and today it still hurts. I have a headache and feel kind of off. I have had concussions in the past but the last would have been years ago. Should I be concerned at all? When I hit my head, i heard bells ringing but did not black out, I felt like I could throw up but didn't. I felt a little better yesterday than I do today, that is what concerns me now.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. You are having head injury. And at present you are having tinnitus (ringing sensa in ear) and nausea (throw up feeling). Both these symptoms are seen commonly with internal brain injury. So in my opinion, you should definitely consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI brain to rule out internal brain injury. If both these are normal then no need to worry much. Take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs. Apply ice packs on affected area. Don't worry, you will be alright but first rule out internal brain injury. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
