I think it is highly possible that you may need to be hospitalized for a few days for IV painkillers. Meanwhile, you can try medicines like Tab. Naxdom (a combination of Naproxen, Domperidone) along with antacids like Rantac. In case you have had no headaches before and this is the first time that you are developing a headache, I would significantly suggest visiting a hospital and meeting a neurologist. This may need a scan as it is the first ever headache. Further treatment may depend on the report of the scan.
