What Causes Headaches, Body Heat, Sore Throat, Cough, Stomach And Chest Redness?

My fiance hasn t been feeling well. For the past three days she s had trouble with headaches. The past two days her body becomes very hot to the touch and sort of red and splotchy around the chest and stomach areas. She complained earlier today of a sore throat and she s had a cough which had slightly worsened with time over the last three days. Could I possibly be told what she may have so we can figure out if it s bad or if it ll go away and how we should treat it?

Hello,

Your fiance’s symptoms are suggestive of viral infection. Usually, viral infections will resolve on their own. Antibiotics are not needed until there is a superadded bacterial infection.

So, my suggestion is to consult ENT specialist or any general physician for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Siddartha
