What Causes Headaches, Drowsiness And Pressure Between My Ears?

I ve had headaches and drowsiness for about 10 weeks and it feels like there s water or some kind of pressure between my ears; I ve never had headaches in the past. My blood pressure is around 140/80 and a resting heart rate of around 54. I m 37 years old, male, 186cm. I cycle about 100 miles a week but recently stopped doing weights because of this. My GP prescribed antibiotics and said i probably had tinnitus but the antibiotics had no affect. Any ideas?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headaches, drowsiness and pressure between my ears. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like migraine , sinusitis and ear infection , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to sinusitis . As sinusitis can cause headache , dizziness and pressure behind eyes . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or penicillin along with decongestant o expectorant . For now take over the counter antiemetic drug and drink green tea with ginger thrice a day . Avoid bending forward or do not remove patch without consultation with your doctor. Doctor may also refer you to ophthalmologist for ocular pressure .
