I m a very healthy 57 yo woman. For the past month, I ve had low grades headaches (previously very rare), mild constant nausea, gas (am both burping and passing gas). I feel mildly unwell, which is new for me. No change in diet or exercise habits. Take only transdermal estrogen. Nonsmoker, rare drinker. Mild stress occasionally when I have work deadlines (not stressed now). Worth seeing my doc soon or should I ride this out for another few months?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Going by your symptoms, I think you could possibly be experiencing some gastric disturbance like mild gastritis, infection and/or indigestion. You should also get your blood pressure checked apart from excluding other causes like a change in refraction, sinusitis, sleep disturbance etc., since you have headache. I would ask you to see a physician for a proper evaluation. The dosage of the estrogen also should be evaluated as a possible cause. Hope this helps.
