I had a headache yesterday n it continued when iI woke up. I ate a bowl of lucky charms. Maybe a half hour later (headache getting worse) my friend had the ac on in the car n I got cold. I got really heavy goosebumps n started shivering. We turned the ac off n it didn t go away, I was still shivering and couldn t stop no matter how hard i tried. Headache getting worse n I felt nauseas. We pulled over n I forced myself to puke n than kept puking without having to force it. Still with goosebumps n shivering, dryheaving n puking up flem I drank some water n puked it right back up. This went on about a half hr until I drank some gingerale slowly still puked a little n than it all slowly stopped. I still felt nauseas but stopped puking. N the headache went away. What could this be? Diabetes runs in my family n my half brother died of brain tumors so it scared me into thinking maybe I have a brain tumor as well. Idk but it was very weird and happened out of nowhere. Thanks for your time!!
It sounds as if you are suffering from symptoms of some type of GI viral infection. Often times these types of viral infections can be sudden in onset, transient in nature lasting as little as 24 hrs. And resolve without any further problems.
I heavily doubt the presence of brain tumors as the cause since I would expect the symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and even more symptoms of a drastic nature to be occurring and likely not stopping.
In your case, things got better. Just keep your fluids up, good nutrition, and you'll be fine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
