I am a 44 y/o female with history of a DVT at age 36. I started having headaches, dizzy spells, pulsatile tinnitus, papilledema, with eye pain, ear pain (sometimes shooting into the jaw) with intermittent spots in the vision (and double vision) and intermittent hearing loss. Diamox is now 500mg twice a day with a diagnosis of Idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Paps is resolved, headaches too. I now have occasional eye pain (no ear pain) but the pulsatile tinnitus has changed and is only when I bend over. Concerned with the history of a DVT should I address this with my physician?
Hi i did review your concern. Pulsatile tinnitus can be due to menieres disease hypertension or raised intracranial pressure. I would advice you to consult a ENT doctor and get your ears properly evaluated and get appropriately treated according to diagnosis. I hope this helps thank you for choosing health care magic. Wish you all the best.
