What Causes Hearing Loss In Ears While Exercising?
When exercising I often experience hearing loss in one or both ears. This is not complete hearing loss, but it is as if pillows are covering my ears muting sound. The hearing returns to normal after a little time has passed.Should I worry? what causes this ?
Hello,
Your symptoms are suggestive of transient eustachian blockage. Due to sudden blockage , negative pressure will be created inside the ears which muffle the hearing. If you try to open the tubes by blowing the air with closed mouth, the symptoms should disappear. If the symptoms still persist, you should seen an ENT surgeon for hearing tests.
