What Causes Heart Palpitaions?
I ama 57 yr old male in excellent shape. During my physical i told my dr I had heart palpitaions a couple of times during an anxiety attack. He did an ekg and said it showed i had had a heart attack. He wasn t concerned but said he would do another ekg next year. This is the only ekg i have ever had. Is a misdiagnosis by the ekg common

Ekg is one of the best ways to detect acute or old infarction. In your case yhere may be signs of old infarction in ekg. To be sure ask him to do an echocardiogram to look for cardiac function.
