What Causes Heart Palpitations While Taking Shower?

got up yesterday at 7:30 am took a shower and while in the shower my heart started thumping and had an increased heart rate, it felt like every time my heart had a beat it was going to jump out of my chest. went to the doc s office and he stated I was in afib. I am healthy bp is typically 90 over 62 and my pulse typically runs around 50 to 54 beats per minute. this has never happened to me your thoughts

Without EKG testing difficult to say whether this is Atrial fibrillation, if this is happening or happened during shower time then this could be nonspecific and might be happening due to sudden change in body surface temperature, if this is true then no need to worry about this, still if you have not done the EKG so it is advisable to get it done, take care, have a nice day.
