Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good day Doc,I just wanna ask about my palpitation, it's not normal, around 95 beats per minute always and pounding a bit hard. What causes it? blood is normal, i guess not in hyperthyrodism.. is it maybe because my nose is clogged due to "polyps" as they call it, therefore, just a little amount of oxygen enters the heart that causes palpitation, is it?
General & Family Physician, Dr. B M Gupta's Response
DO NOT WORRY. YOUR HEART BEAT IS NORMAL. NORMAL HEART BEAT IS 70 TO 90 / MINUTE. BUT SMALL VARIATION IS ALSO NORMAL. NASAL POLYPS ARE DUE TO ALLERGY. ARE YOU HAVING OTHER SYMPTOMS. CONSULT ENT DOCTOR. FOR THYROID GET BLOOD TEST FOR T S H . CALL BACK WITH DETAILED HISTORY. WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP YOU. FEED BACK TO HCM.
